Schedule
Zazen
If you’ve been sitting for a while and want to deepen your meditation practice, join us for our Wednesday Evening sit and a dharma talk and Q&A with Zuisei Goddard, Guiding Teacher of Ocean Mind Sangha. We begin at 7 pm with a short teaching on meditation by Zuisei, followed by an hour of zazen. If you can’t join us for the two full hours, you’re welcome to join partway during the meditation. (Just make sure to register before 7pm EDT; the link disappears once we’ve begun). You can also take a break in the middle of zazen, or do some standing or walking meditation on your own.
Meditation Instruction
If you’re new to Zen meditation or the Ocean Mind Sangha, please let Zuisei know so she can give you beginning instruction in zazen and an orientation to our program.
Dharma Talks and Buddhist Study
Every Wednesday Evening Zuisei offers a dharma teaching followed by Q&A. To explore her teaching further, visit the full archive of Zuisei’s dharma talks on the OMS Podcast page, or check out the Buddhist Study Calendar for focused Buddhist study at OMS. You can also browse the general OMS Events Calendar.
Wednesday Evening Teaching is offered freely and donations are deeply appreciated. Please know that your generous dana supports Zuisei’s work and the operations of the Ocean Mind Sangha, a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation.
